PEP BAND
Our spring pep band is a highly visible ensemble that excites the crowd at all home basketball games. This high-energy, low-intensity ensemble allows students to gain experience in a new musical medium and many spring pep band students form the core of the marching band in the fall.
Spring 2026 Season
The Arvada West Wildcat Pep Band performs at our boys’ and girls’ varsity basketball games during the months of December to February. Pep band is a high-energy, low-pressure performance environment open to all music students. The purpose of pep band is to provide support to our excellent varsity basketball teams, as well as give our music students a chance to try out new instruments and styles of music in a fun and supportive environment. Many students who join pep band in the spring end up becoming core members of the Wildcat Pride Marching Band in the fall.
